It’s that time of year again…
the evenings are getting longer, the air is getting warmer, and you find yourself looking out of the window wishing you were out in the fresh air, preferably climbing!
Well, we can now make that a reality with the launch of our OUTDOOR CLIMBING programme.
Why CLIMB outdoors with PARTHIAN?
Well, outdoor climbing is in our DNA. From our founder pushing the limits on the Gritstone, to our current instructor and coaches pushing it on the local limestone. We want you to share that same experience with us in a safe, well managed environment.
We have designed our outdoor climbing days to cater for differing levels of experience, whether its your first time outdoors to whether you want to push the grade on something. We can teach you all the skills you need to be self-sufficient at sport climbing at the local crags, or we can set the ropes up so all you have to do is climb.
Our instructors are qualified in the activities they are delivering and knowledgeable about the crags and areas where they will take you too. We promise you an adventurous day out that you won’t forget, with amazing views, awesome climbing. We guarantee you will finish the day having learnt loads and with a new found thirst for outdoor climbing.
Parthian Climbing are licensed by AALA (Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority) to deliver Outdoor Adventurous Activities to all age groups. We have spent lots of time planning how to make your experience fun and engaging and one you won’t forget. Our instructors are NGB qualified i.e. they have been through a rigorous process of getting certified to deliver outdoor climbing.
Our intro to Rock Climbing sessions are aimed at Adults and Juniors who want to experience outdoor rock climbing for the first time. Parents can feel at ease that our responsible team will minimise any risks and provide all participants with a fun packed day out, with route choice tailored to ability, awesome views and awesome climbing. No experience necessary and all equipment can be provided.
Our Learn to Sport climb course will teach you everything you need to know to become a self-sufficient sport climber. We cover amongst other things equipment choice and use, guide book interpretation and crag choice, methods for re-threading sport anchors and some basic problem solving.
