Exciting New Additions to Our Training Zone – Perfect for Climbers!

 

We’re excited to announce some fantastic upgrades to our gym, tailored to help you take your climbing performance to the next level. Here’s what’s new and how these tools can benefit your training:

  • Functional Trainer Machine: This versatile cable machine, with a variety of grips, is a game-changer for building climbing-specific strength. Practice pull movements to mimic climbing techniques, strengthen your core for better stability on the wall, and target muscles essential for grip, lock-offs, and body tension. Its adaptability allows you to customize exercises for climbing performance.

  • Expanded Dumbbell Range: Our new dumbbells, now up to 37.5kg, and duplicates of popular weights mean fewer waits and more training. Dumbbell exercises are fantastic for building unilateral strength, essential for balancing out muscle imbalances that can develop in climbing. Think renegade rows, weighted lunges, and single-arm presses for enhancing shoulder stability and grip endurance.

  • 35-Degree Squat Ramp: This squat ramp helps you train your legs and glutes with better form and reduced strain on your knees. Climbers can focus on developing powerful lower-body strength for explosive moves and solid footwork. It’s perfect for deep squats, calf raises, and even mobility work.

  • SkiErg Machine: While climbing is primarily strength-focused, cardio and endurance are key for sustained performance on long routes. The Ski Erg offers a full-body workout that simulates climbing’s pulling motions while challenging your aerobic capacity. It’s an excellent tool for cross-training to improve overall stamina and recovery.
