Reading Climbing Festival 2020
Well doesn’t that seem like a long time ago!
As usual our competitors turned up for the last round of our winter leagues to battle it out for those all-important top spots on the podium!
WBL
Rob Cook took the top spot (again!) for the men topping all of the finals followed by Robert Obreja (2nd) and Jack Fuller (3rd).
It was a very close women’s final with Megan Wyatt narrowly taking the win with Maya Harry (2nd) and Arianwen Fields (3rd) hot on her heels!
Flynn Ingram dominated the boy’s final taking a well-deserved top spot followed by Alexander Bishop (2nd) and Sam Gaines (3rd).
Another close final in the girl’s saw Ella Moffatt (pictured above) seal the win by one bonus over Isla Thompson (2nd) and Emma Little (3rd).
Moving on to Elevate
Frank Castillo took the top spot for the men by topping the final route followed by league leader, Michal Kowalski (2nd) and Mike Abdullah (3rd).
Emmeline Bolton topped the women’s final taking the win followed by Samantha Holden (2nd) and Jay Broadley (3rd).
Flynn Ingram was hungry for another win after yesterday’s bouldering final and that’s exactly what he did by topping the boy’s final route with Jack Styles-West (2nd) and Ryan Smit (3rd) giving it a great effort!
A very close girl’s final went to countback (and time!) to give us this year’s line-up: Lucie Hammond (1st) Erin Berry (2nd) and Isla Thompson (3rd) (pictured above).

Girl’s
1st – Jessie Schenk
2nd – Rose Merret
3rd – Cassidy Hunt
