Welcome to Parthian Climbing Reading
Our Reading gym is located just outside of the town centre. With ample parking, or a 30-minute walk from Reading Station, we cater for climbers from all over Berkshire.
We offer Intro Courses for kids and adults, Beginners and Coaching sessions for 16+ and, for those kids who want to progress and potentially compete, we run our NICAS course throughout term time.

Highly recommend booking the adult beginners class for £20. Well worth the money if you are interested in starting a new hobby or just something to fill the evening with. I am terrified of heights but the instructor puts you at ease and puts time into talking through everything. We done 3 different routes on the climbing walls and we’re also given time bouldering. It was a lot of fun and will now be able to return without an instructor.

Friendly and approachable staff, very helpful and great coffee between climbing sessions. They are currently remodelling the cafe, moving it downstairs and re-building the bouldering walls (September 2022) it should all be completed by October 2022.

We booked a family climbing session with our two daughters, 9&12. We have an amazing time! Our instructor was so patient and kind and set us some great challenges. It was great to do something new together as a family. We also had a lovely coffee from the cafe on the way out. Will definitely be back!

The adult intro experience was really informative and loads of fun. Our instructor did a great job of welcoming everyone, getting us all to have a go and selling the benefits of climbing!

Favorite part was seeing the hugh smile of achivement on my 8 yr old sons face when he realised he could not only climb the walls. Now there is no holding him back. He loves it.
