The perfect first-time climbing experience!
This group class is perfect for new climbers wanting their first experience of indoor climbing!
This 1.5 hour session for adults (16+yrs) is a taster of what Parthian Climbing has to offer. Guided by one of our amazing instructors, you will get to try top rope climbing, as well as getting in-depth inductions to our auto belays and bouldering area. This session equips you with all the information you need to pass a competency check on your next visit, allowing you to climb unsupervised on the auto belays and bouldering wall going forward.

ADULT BEGINNERS COURSE
Want to learn the ropes?
Run over several sessions, you’ll learn everything you need to be a safe, competent bottom rope climber. Learning things such as; setting up your gear, tying into your harness, belaying, and of course a healthy dose of climbing technique.
Upon completion, you should be ready to hit our bottom rope walls to test your skills and take your climbing to new heights.
All required equipment hire is included in the course.

ADULT LEARN TO LEAD COURSE
If you are already a competent rope climber but want to take it to the next level, our 6-hour Learn to Lead course will build upon your existing climbing and belaying skills and introduce crucial elements for to progress into lead climbing.
Clipping in, dynamic belaying, and falling are just some of the key skills you will cover.
You should be comfortably climbing at least 6a on top rope before you book onto this course. If you are unsure whether this course is right for you, please speak to a member of our team.

SOCIAL CLUBS
Our weekly Social Clubs are designed to help you meet new people and share hints and tips. A member of the Team will be on hand for the entire duration, but as this is not an instructed session, all climbers must be over 18 years old and signed off to boulder unsupervised.

Highly recommend booking the adult beginners class for £20. Well worth the money if you are interested in starting a new hobby or just something to fill the evening with. I am terrified of heights but the instructor puts you at ease and puts time into talking through everything. We done 3 different routes on the climbing walls and we’re also given time bouldering. It was a lot of fun and will now be able to return without an instructor.

We went as a school trip with the children from year 6. It was well organised and the trip ran smoothly. They all had a great time and loved the activities. The comments from the children were: "the instructors were great and really friendly." I’d just like to start with what a centre, the walls a constantly changing and improving weekly. I am righting this review solely on the performance of a team member, I never managed to get this lovely lady’s name. Me and my friend are confident at bouldering but have only just began belaying so we haven’t much a clue compared to the staff (this was shown immediately). We had the family introduction session, which was excellent. I was really pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I must admit I don’t have much to compare it with, but the feel of the building was light and airy, it was very clean and well maintained and had a great atmosphere.
