A lot of fun! My 10-year old son and his friends had a climbing session for his birthday party: everyone loved and the instructor made it fun for everyone, including first-time climbers. We used one of the rooms in the centre for lunch and birthday cake. Success!

Fantastic day out for children. My two are 4 and 7 years old, so were in separate sessions. The facilities are great and the staff are outstanding; very patient and work hard to encourage both children. I would defiantly recommend this for a day out.

My 13-year-old son attended a 90-minute introductory session and loved it. He was able to try bouldering, top-rope belay and the auto-belay climbs, and to practice belaying for other participants. The instructor was wonderful - clear in her instructions and explanations and gently supportive and encouraging, creating a safe environment for the children to try and to be encouraged to push their limits without feeling pressured. Parthian Climbing was a great experience for my nieces and me when they visited me in Manchester and Kieran, our instructor was amazing! This was a fun-filled afternoon, which was challenging and delivered many smiles - I highly recommend it! The venue also is amazing; you won't be disappointed))

Popped in for an intro session on my own (joined a small group), staff where professional and understanding. Person running the session (I think Rachel?) was lovely and made the entire group feel at ease quickly. And the guy running the counter was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend booking in if your looking for a good way to get into climbing.
